Anxiety and Stress Support

When your mind will not settle

Anxiety and stress can look like racing thoughts, a tight chest, restlessness, or a constant scan for what might go wrong. Online sessions offer a place to slow that down and understand what your nervous system is trying to do.

About

Anxiety and Stress Support

Online sessions with psychologist Minahil Babar — no clinic visit.

Anxiety is not a personal failure. It is often a body and mind working overtime to keep you safe — even when the threat is a deadline, a message left unread, or an old fear that keeps returning. Stress can sit on top of that until sleep, concentration, and patience wear thin.

In these sessions we look at how anxiety shows up for you: thoughts, body sensations, avoidance, and the stories you tell yourself when you are on edge. The aim is not to argue your fear out of existence. It is to make more room around it so you can choose responses that cost you less.

Support may include noticing triggers, practising grounding in the session, and experimenting with small changes between meetings. What we try is always discussed — nothing is imposed.

If anxiety is severe, includes panic that feels unmanageable, or you cannot keep yourself safe, we will talk about additional support. Online therapy can sit alongside medical care; it does not replace emergency help.
